Dawn colors all
with a golden glow;
granite mountain
dons saffron robe.
As Time,
the cloaked arrow,
hurries toward our guess
(is as good as God).
We await
the marks
its blazing passage
leaves on our reality.
Then fiddle-faddle
with our miss-conceptions
of what
it's all about.
The holy aura gone:
granite returns to rock,
and the day
